Present your Applications and Services for Drilling Technology

The TURNING DAYS trade fair looks back on a long tradition in South Germany. The TURNING DAYS were held in Pforzheim for the first time in 2004 and switched to Villingen-Schwenningen in 2005. Since then the trade fair has been staged at the Villingen-Schwenningen exhibition grounds in a two-year cycle.

The trade fair is continually growing in terms of occupied exhibition area as well as number of attendees. In the meantime, the TURNING DAYS have assumed a firm place in the trade fair calendar of many firms in the industry. We would like to invite you as an exhibitor at the TURNING DAYS South to present your range of services from the turning and milling technology sector to a knowledgeable audience.

Dates & facts

Exactly 6,372 trade visitors (2009: 4,800 visitors) informed themselves about innovations and developments in the industry at the 2013 TURNING DAYS. From 17 to 20 April, 280 exhibitors (as 2011) presented their products and services on a net exhibition area of over 8,200 m2 (2009: 6,360 m2) in five exhibition halls.

Among the exhibitors were many well-known industry leaders from Germany, particularly from Baden-Württemberg, and their suppliers.

Nearly no growth in space venue possible

In 2015 it is possible to have a very small increase of the available venue through an optimization (for example we will decrease the second coffee shop area for the benefit of more area).

Therefore the TURNING DAYS South can grow slightly of about 300 m2.

A successful idea: The process chain concept

Machining technology with an emphasis on turning technology and turned parts production with all production processes will be portrayed at the TURNING DAYS.

The process chain concept was implemented in Villingen-Schwenningen for the first time in 2011, which led to great praise among exhibitors and visitors. For instance, exhibitors were grouped so that they were able to portray this process chain. Several machine manufacturers made use of this opportunity. They obtained a central area so that the stands of their cooperation partners could be placed in the immediate vicinity. For visitors this provided a maximum information value in a manageable area. This concept shall also be applied in Dortmund.
